For Bill Organizer & Pay Reminder
Effective Date: September 28, 2026 · Last Updated: September 28, 2026
Bill Organizer is published by an independent Apple platforms developer (referred to in this policy as "we", "our", or "us"). You can reach us by email at [email protected].
This Privacy Policy describes how the Bill Organizer & Pay Reminder application for iPhone, iPad and Mac (the "App") handles information.
Short version: we do not collect personal data about you. The bills, payments and income you enter are stored on your device and, only if you turn on iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud database, which we cannot read. The App has no accounts, does not connect to your bank, and contains no analytics or advertising.
We do not collect, store on our servers, sell, or share personal information from the App. In particular, we do not collect:
Because we do not collect personal data through the App, we do not maintain a user database.
Everything in the App is typed in by you. This includes bill names, amounts and currencies, due dates and how they repeat, payees, categories, notes, autopay flags, payments you record, income and paydays, and your reminder preferences.
This data is stored in a database inside the App's own container on your device, shared only with the App's widgets through an Apple App Group. It is not sent to us.
iCloud sync is an optional Pro feature and is off unless you turn it on in the App's settings. When it is on, your App data is stored in the private database of your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so it can appear on your other iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in to the same Apple Account. Apple may send silent push notifications to the App so it knows when data changed on another device.
Data in your private iCloud database belongs to your Apple Account. We, as the developer, cannot access, read, or export it. iCloud storage is provided by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy and your iCloud settings. You can turn sync off at any time in the App, and manage or delete iCloud data in your device settings.
If you allow notifications, the App schedules reminders as local notifications on your device. They are never sent through a server. A reminder shows the bill's name, amount, due date and payee, so this information may be visible on your Lock Screen depending on your notification preview settings. The Mark Paid and Snooze actions are handled on the device.
The App asks for notification permission during onboarding or when you turn reminders on. You can change or revoke it at any time in the system Settings.
The App declares camera and photo library access for attaching a picture of a bill. It asks for permission only when you choose to take or pick a picture, and never reads your photo library in the background. An attached picture or document is stored with its bill in the App's database (and in your private iCloud database if sync is on). It is never uploaded to us. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in the system Settings.
Besides the data you enter, the App stores a small amount of data locally so it can provide its features. This data is not sent to us.
You can delete individual bills inside the App, or delete all local App data by uninstalling the App.
You can export your bills and payments as CSV files, or as a PDF report with Pro. The files are created on your device and handed to the system share sheet. Where they go next (Files, Mail, another app) is chosen by you.
The only network request the App makes on its own is to download a small static configuration file from our website when the App launches or returns to the foreground. The file contains two non-personal settings: the number of bills allowed on the free tier and whether the upgrade screen is shown after onboarding. The request carries no personal data, no identifiers, and nothing about your bills. As with any web request, the server that hosts the file receives your IP address as part of the connection; we do not use it to identify you or combine it with any other data.
Other network traffic is handled by Apple: App Store purchases through StoreKit and, only if you turn it on, iCloud sync through CloudKit.
Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. Apple is the merchant of record. We do not see your payment details, Apple Account, billing address, or full name. The App receives from Apple only a confirmation of which purchase, if any, is active. Apple's own privacy policy applies to App Store purchases, subscription management, purchase restoration, iCloud and CloudKit, notifications, Siri and Shortcuts, Spotlight, widgets, the camera and photo library, the share sheet, and other system services.
The App does not include any third-party code. There are no analytics, crash reporting, advertising, attribution, or tracking SDKs, and no bank-linking services. Outgoing links to Apple's standard end user license agreement, Apple's subscription management page, and this Privacy Policy open only at your request.
The App is a general-purpose finance utility rated 4+ on the App Store. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and it is not enrolled in the App Store Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us; because we do not collect personal data, there is normally nothing for us to delete from our systems.
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar laws. These rights can include access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection to processing.
Because we do not collect or hold personal data from the App, we have no personal data to provide, correct, delete, or transfer in response to such a request. You still control the App's data:
California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we have no categories of personal information to disclose because we do not collect any through the App.
The App relies on security features built into iOS, iPadOS and macOS, including app sandboxing, data protection for files on your device, an App Group container shared only with the App's own widgets, Apple's protection of iCloud data, and Apple's StoreKit transaction verification. No method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. However, the App does not transmit your bills to us, because we have no servers that receive them.
The App may be available through the Apple App Store in multiple countries. Because your data is stored on your device and, optionally, in your own iCloud account, and we do not collect personal data through the App, we do not transfer your App data across borders on our side.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new App functionality or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. The basic commitment that the App does not collect your personal data or upload your bills to us will not change without clear notice.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or the way the App handles data, please write to [email protected].
